Only because fall is followed by summer, people perceive it as something negative: the closure of the vivid summertime, the beginning of school, and the boring everydays.

1. Vintage season.

Fall is the season of the harvest! Festivals, parades are organized to celebrate the picking and give thanks in this vivid way for the fruits, crops. Thankfully, in the fall of 2021, these events can be held, maybe just with a slight restriction.

Oktoberfests are arranged throughout the country, especially in Florida, by the German American Society Club. Oktoberfests started in September and are continuously organized from Jacksonville to Miami until the beginning of November. Authentic German music, folk dance, traditional food and beverages (bratwurst, pretzel, and beers), games for kids and grownups entertain the guests. From mid-July until the 20th of November, the Walt Disney characters leave the screen and serve their guests at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. Irresistible culinary specialties worldwide, delightful dishes offered on the marketplaces (Appleseed Orchard, Tangierine Café, Mac & Eats, etc.), plant-based meals, tea, spirit and wine specialties by the Impossible food, beverage seminars are on the menu. Savor the taste of the Alps, Greece, Brasil, or Ireland! Furthermore, you can enjoy additional programs like Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt and Emile’s Fromage Montage.

Another festival for the fall of 2021 is the Mount Dora Craft Fair in the historic town of Mount Dora on the 23rd and 24th of October this year. At the most popular Arts & Craft Festival of America, around 400 craft vendors offer their fine and fun crafts to admire and even buy them. Moreover, musicians, performers, and other artists are entertaining kids and grownups alike. Mouth-watering festival foods and beverages are going to be prepared for the visitors as well.

2. Gifts of the season.

Besides food and wine, beer, arts & craft festivals, there are some more funny events organized in the fall of 2021 in Florida! If you are an ever kid, let’s visit the Partin Ranch Corn Maze, where you can return back to your childhood, and re-experience the pumpkin preparation, “travel” on barrel train, ride the hay, or try to find the way out from the corn maze. With adult height, this latest challenge is supposed to be easier than decades ago. Partin Ranch is awaiting its guests every weekend of October in the fall of 2021. If you would like to have some more excitement, for an extra fee, you can even ride the pony! Have fun!

If you visit Mount Dora to admire the arts & craft festival, don’t miss Scott’s Maze Adventures! The theme of fall 2021 is Dinosaurus. Children can jump on the giant jumping pillows, play on a castle-like playground, and slide down the 60ft long slide. All ages can learn different farming techniques, the Farm to Table process, and, of course, searching for the way out from the corn maze.

4. Halloween is knocking on the door!

Haunted Halloween Classics will be performed by great musicians at the Coral Gables Congregational Church at 3010 De Soto Boulevard on the evening of the 28th of October in the suspicious light of flickering candles. Between November and March is the time to visit a lovely, endangered, gentle giant, the Manatee (Sea Cow). During these months, this primarily herbivorous marine mammal spends its winter holiday in Florida’s water. Meet with them at plenty of locations throughout the state, like Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River, Tampa Electric Manatee Viewing Center, Manatee Springs State Park, Chiefland, or the Manatee Lagoon, An FPL Eco-Discovery Center, West Palm Beach!
