All of our award winning escape room games are private, you will never be mixed with strangers; Just you and your family and friends. With over 17 thousand five star reviews we can promise you a great time!

In accordance with the terms and conditions set by all card issuers and banks, and to protect all customers from fraud. For all reservations made in advance on the website using a debit or credit card, the card holder named must be present at time of playing to sign the confirmation of payment, and the credit or debit card used must be presented for validation. Unfortunately we cannot accept email copies, as the card issuers require us to see the card and obtain a "wet" signature. If the card holder is not present, then the original online payment will be cancelled and refunded and the players in store must repay instore. We apologize for any inconveniance, as we must follow the strict rules and regualtions mandated by banks and card issuers.

WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?

We are open for advance reservations or walk in customers from 11am weekends and from 3pm weekdays. We also offer private teamuilding events prior to 3pm weekdays with at least 24 hours prior notice and booking.

CAN I PLAY OUTSIDE OF REGULAR OPENING HOURS?

Yes! We offer private team building event games every weekday before 3pm. These games must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance on our website to allow us to schedule staff. These private event team building games are a flat fee per game and cannot be reserved with any voucher, coupon or code.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?

You can reserve any game during our regular opening hours from 1 to 8 players. If you are not sure how many players you may have, reserve for the number of players you know, and you can add on extra players to your group on arrival, up to a maximum of 10 players in any single game. With 4 award winning escape room games, we can have up to 40 people playing at the same time.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS TO RESERVE A GAME?

Most games during our regular opening hours can be reserved with as few as 1 player, and you can then split the payment and add extra players on arrival. At busy times, including Friday, Saturday and Holidays, we may set a minimum number of players of 3 to make an advance reservation on our website. If there is a minimum of 3 players to reserve on the website, you can still play with 1 or 2 players as walk in customers for any available game. For all games outside of our regular opening hours, before 3pm weekdays, games are a flat fee regardless of the number of players.

CAN I CHANGE MY RESERVATION?

Yes, we understand sometimes plans change! While all reservations are final and there are no refunds, we will always either reschedule your reservation to a later time, or rain check your reservation at no cost or fee to you, providing you ask us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled game start time. Simply reply to your booking confirmation email with the new game and time you would like to play, or for a rain check if you do not know the new game and time you would like to play. If you ask less than 6 hours prior to the scheduled game start time, there are no refunds, rain checks or reschedules and you will forfeit 100% of the booking fee, as you booked and removed the game from our website that we will not be able to sell to another customer at short notice, and we will have scheduled and paid staff. There are no exceptions. If you ask to reschedule between 6 and 24 hours prior to your game start time,  then we may offer a rain check or reschedule for a fee of $10 per player.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY GAME AND WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE?

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your scheduled game start time, to allow time for registration, for players to use the restroom and to receive pre game game master instructions and watch a hlpful pre game video. This will ensure your game starts on time. We deliberately stagger the game start times to avoid teams for all 4 games arriving and leaving at the same time. Please remember after you play, we have to prepare, clean and reset the game you have just played for the next customers who will be playing in your game. Regardless of what time you arrive and start your game, your game MUST end at the scheduled time, so that the next team playing can start on time. If you arrive late, your game will be less than 60 minutes, as it will end at the scheduled time, regardless of the time you arrive. Please arrive on time as a courtesy to our game masters and other customers.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T SHOW UP FOR MY GAME?

As with all other escape rooms in Florida, and shown in the terms and conditions prior to booking, and in your booking confirmation email, you will forfeit 100% of the booking. There are no refunds and no reschedules.

DO YOU OFFER STUDENT DISCOUNTS?

On top of our great value pricing, we offer an extra 15% student discount on Tuesay, Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm. In Orlando you must book with a valid UCF email address to use student discount code GOKNIGHTS. In Tallahassee you must book with a valid FSU, FAMU or TCC email address to use student discount codes GONOLES, GOEAGLES or GORATTLERS. Student discount codes are not transferrable to non students and all players will be required to present student ID on arrival.

WHERE DO I USE A VOUCHER COUPON OR CODE?

After picking the game and time you want to play during our regular opening hours; On the ticket page of the website, when you pick from 1 to 8 players, there is a field to enter any voucher coupon or code. Vouchers, coupons or codes cannot be applied retrospectively to any booking that has already been completed, and we cannot accept vouchers, coupons or codes in store. Vouchers coupons and codes can only be used in advance on the website. Vouchers coupons and codes are not valid for teambuilding even games outside of our regular opening hours, prior to 3pm weekdays.

CAN I SPLIT OR COMBINE VOUCHERS, COUPONS OR CODES?

Vouchers cannot be split, they are good for a one time use and cannot be combined on the website. As all games are private, unused players from any pre paid voucher do not carry forward. For example, if you have a pre paid voucher for up to 6 players, when you book, we remove a full game from our website so you do not play with strangers. If only 5 players turn up, we cannot provide a second private game for the unused player. If you have multiple pre paid tickets and you want to combine them for use in a single booking, please email your pre paid tickets to the customer care team, in Orlando orlando.ucf@americanescaperooms.com or  tallahassee@americanescaperooms.com in Tallahassee and please allow at least 1 business day for a reply.

CAN I ADD EXTRA PLAYERS TO MY PRE PAID TICKET?

Yes! You can add them on the website at the time of booking, or add them on arrival in store, up to a maximum of 10 total players in any single game. Extra players can added at the time of booking on the website, or on arrival at the store prior to playing. Extra players added to a pre paid ticket are at regular price.

I HAVE LOST MY PRE PAID TICKET - CAN YOU HELP?

Yes! We keep a record of pre paid tickets for 1 year from their date of sale. Please email orlando.ucf@americanescaperooms.com in Orlando or  tallahassee@americanescaperooms.com in Tallahassee with your details asking for a copy of your pre paid ticket. Please allow up to 1 business day for a reply.

IS MY GAME APPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN?

Our games are designed for players aged 8 and up. All of our games are family friendly and age appropriate for players aged 8+. Players aged 5 and under are free of charge, and only allowed in the games in a stroller, and must remain in the stroller at all times. If all the players in a game are under 14, then an adult must also be present inside the game as a player. If any player is 14 to 17, then an adult does not need to be inside the game as a player, but must remain on site in our reception during the game.

DO YOU ALLOW CAKE, FOOD OR DRINKS?

There are no food, drinks or liquids allowed in any of our escape room games. If you are celebrating a Birthday, we can store a Birthday Cake in our private control room for you to hand out to players after their game.

DO YOU OFFER TAX EXEMPT RESERVATIONS?

Yes. For organizations that are sales tax exempt in the State of Florida, please email our customer care team with a copy of your Sales Tax Exemption Certificate and any other information about the number of players, date and time you would like to play. Our Sales Tax Exemption team will create the booking and send an invoice, which is due for payment on issue, to confirm the reservation. Sales Tax Exempt reservations and invoices take up to 1 business day to complete and are not available for same day reservations. Reservations once made and paid for with sales tax, cannot be retrospectively be changed to tax exempt.  Please note that in the State of Florida, purchases made by employees of Tax Exempt entities, who are then being reimbursed by the entity, are not tax exempt. Please refer to your sales tx exemption certificate for more information.

ARE THE GAMES ACCESSIBLE?

All of our games, restrooms and public areas are ADA accessible.

ARE SERVICE DOGS AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ALLOWED?

Service Dogs are welcome in all circumstances. Emotional Support Dogs may be allowed in certain circumstances by prior arrangement, and only for fully private games. Please call your local store or email our customer care line.
